  • The video artwork #Math_Too deals with shame, distress and the understanding that there is no place to hide when our ignorance is exposed. Shame of dyscalculia is an experience that accompanies me from my childhood through adulthood in dealing with a society that admires numbers. 

    As the multiplication table reveals itself throughout the video art, the viewer experiences the panic of being trapped, the same as an animal transfixed to the headlights of a car would feel; naked in the eyes of the public. 

    My video and art projects are a result of research, philosophical, cultural and intimate/personal, of human experiences that we are engaged in on a daily basis.
