The video installation traps the viewer in a disturbing silence situation, located under a dinner table of a regular couple, one evening. What’s happening up there? Anger, stress, quarrel? Relaxed silence? Or maybe parallel lives of a couple, both immersed in their own world, eyes stuck on their mobile phones?
The work deals with questions that silence raises and how we deal with the vacuum and space it creates.
